Anna K. Beverwijk was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. After graduation from High School, she pursued her studies in the U.S.A. and received her B.F.A. from the School of Visual Arts. She had several Solo Exhibitions at the Montserrat Gallery in N.Y.C., the Sfinx Gallery in Amsterdam. Her Group Exhibitions were at the Socardo Gallery in Montreal, Canada, National Association of Women Artists in N.Y.C., Art Encounter Gallery, Las Vegas , Nevada, Atelier Gallery in Greenport, L.I., N.Y., The Long Island Museum in Stony Brook, L.I., N.Y. She was the 2009 winner of "The Journey of the Pod" art/poster contest in New Hope, Pa. Several of her paintings were published in the "Encyclopedia of Living Artists in America", "The Manhattan Arts Magazine", "The Fine Art Index" (the North American Edition).
