My love and talent in all the arts: music (accordion) dancing (tap & ballet) theater (directing,writing,acting) painting (all media) are incorporated in my creations as I try to capture the rhythm,color,joy and pain of just living. I studied watercolor with Terry Madden,oils with the Bob Ross group and I am a certified teacher in each media. I love doing abstracts in acrylics and many professional artists have told me I have a dynamic,contemporary outlook in this media and style. For twenty years 1972-1992 I was editor of Sunshine Artist magazine and had the opportunity to travel to hundreds of art shows,meet creative artists,judge a few shows and make wonderful friends. I am blessed with the ability to combine painting techniques with my artistic dreams to achieve my goals....a work of art. The enriching experience of painting and teaching has given me great joy and pride in my accomplishments. Passion is the fuel that keeps me energized with results most always of re-discovery and growth. The ultimate is sharing all of this with people and students plus anyone who says,"Let me learn and grow,for the arts heal and open pathways to a better world."
