John Pirnak's style of painting is in realism. I have painted this way all my life, trying to depict nature in truth and honesty. I believe that reality has true beauty of its own. Paintings in the style of abstraction and semi abstraction, though beautiful in their own way, trying to convey a mood or a feeling of the subject, or extract hidden meanings, appeal to many people, but so does the true "beauty" of nature herself. And to my discovery, over many years of painting, a lot of viewers of my work, feel and see the same things i do. The camera some have told me, can do a far better job of representing a scene or subject in a more precision way but the photograph is cold. But here again, I have seen photos that can take your breath away. All art is beauty really, but to me, the sheer beauty in everyday nature and in people or objects painted in a realistic style, will charm folks for ever probably.
